We the People  We the People

We the people...  In order to form a more perfect police state, have abdicated our responsibilities and failed to check up on our government.

We have failed to prosecute and punish elected officials for their high crimes and misdemeanors. We have reelected politicians that have taken dirty money from vile corporate contributors.

We have the FINEST, Police State that money can buy.

WELCOME TO UTAH!

This is the place. The place where almost everyone has their head in the desert sand. The trouble with having your head in the sand though... is that your REAR END is up in the air. When that happens, it's easy to get spanked. Or worse! You might get Straked... or you might get a radioactive waste dump 20 miles upwind from your hometown, Utah.

Utah... My Beloved Utah. When will you learn that Liberty has a price, and that price, demands a commitment. The price of Liberty Brothers and Sisters is:
ETERNAL VIGILANCE!

CANDIDATE OPPOSES VOUCHERS

SALT LAKE CITY, Friday, November 2, 2007

Dr. Ken Larsen, hopeful candidate for Utah Governor on the 2008 Ballot of the Personal Choice Party, declares School Vouchers unconstitutional.  He quotes Article I, Section 4 of the Utah Constitution:  (quote) "No public money or property shall be appropriated for or applied to any religious worship, exercise or instruction, or for the support of any ecclesiastical establishment." (end quote)

Then, Dr. Larsen claims that one of the purposes of private schools is to teach faith-based values, making Proposition #1 unconstitutional.

To make his point, Dr. Larsen offers a $100 reward to the first person to deliver to him the following statement signed by the Supervisor or
Principle of any private school now operating in Utah with more than 50 students.  (Quote) "Our school does not teach any faith-based values." (end quote)

Lacking any provision to prevent the appropriation of public funds for
religious instruction, the Voucher Program fails the constitutional test
and must be rejected by all who wish to uphold the constitution of the
People, according to Candidate Larsen.
